This policy explains what information the Social Value US website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and we never sell personal information.
What we collect
Contact and training request forms. When you send us a message through the Contact page or request a custom training on the Learning page, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, organization (if given), and your message. These are delivered to us by email so we can reply. The website itself does not keep a copy of your submission.
Newsletter signups. If you join our newsletter, your name and email address go to Kit, the service we use to send it. You will receive an email asking you to confirm, and every newsletter includes a link to unsubscribe at any time. Kit’s handling of your information is described in Kit’s privacy policy.
Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, our web host records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising trackers, and the site does not currently run analytics.
Cookies
We do not use cookies to track visitors. Cookies are used only when an administrator logs in to manage the site. If you subscribe to the newsletter, the signup form saves a small note in your browser so it doesn’t ask you again. Services we link to may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Other services
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and app store badges from Apple and Google, which means those companies receive your IP address when you view the page. We also link to services with their own privacy policies, including our member community on Mighty Networks, Social Value International, LinkedIn, and training partners such as Social Value Canada and Efiko Academy. When you leave our site, their policies apply.
How we use information
We use the information you send us only to respond to you, to arrange trainings you ask about, and to send the newsletter you signed up for. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we share it only with the services named above that help us do these things, or when required by law.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email us at info@socialvalueus.org.
Children
This website is intended for adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
